HUSQVARNA RIDER PAAVO HONKANEN WINS FIRST FINNISH CHAMPIONSHIP RACE IN MIKKELI

Paavo Honkanen rode to a clear class victory in the opening round of Finnish Championship race in Mikkeli this Saturday. He won the 125cc class by a significant margin of almost 24 seconds ahead of reigning champion Riku Nikander.

"Awesome feeling when finally everything was 100% correct! In the morning I had to struggle a little bit because the icy track did not give right response. But the second and third legs were easier and my stamina did not let me down. Also my WR 125 worked perfect!" happy Paavo commented after the race.

Paavo had problems with his health last season, but this is now behind him and the target is set for winning the 2012 championship."
